Color Block

This series begins with a memory—Chacha as a child. Her earliest palette was fearless: vibrant pigments pressed against stark contrasts, combinations that arose from instinct rather than instruction. Years later, that palette becomes the spark behind this evolving body of work.

Working in oil, each painting becomes a quiet negotiation between past and present. The resulting canvases echo with unexpected harmonies and restless tensions, as if two versions of Chacha—one wild, one seasoned—are painting together.

This series is a continuing exploration, with new works added as Chacha revisits and expands upon the intuitive, unfiltered gestures that first shaped her artistic voice.
