Originals:
Chacha’s materials, like her muses, come from her surroundings — plywood from building projects on her family’s farm, house paint rescued from renovations, charcoal from summer cookouts, and treasures found at local thrift shops. Each carries its own history, shaping the texture, color, and narrative of the finished piece.

Inspiration comes from the people and places she encounters: life on the farm, snakes winding through kitchen cupboards, road trips, surf spots, songs discovered, friends met, cows backlit by the setting sun, rolling hills, the endless rain, her wild dingo, and the emotions of building a home, family life, spring’s flowers and its deadly ticks, rivers quenching summer, and fires sustaining winter — all finding form in her work.

From each original, a limited edition of ten prints is created — signed and numbered. Some come framed, bound to the wood that completes them; others remain unframed, awaiting the wall or frame that will make them whole. Every work includes a letter of authenticity, a promise of its origin and the hands that made it.
